Serving the greater Phoenix area in person and remotely across Arizona, California, and Texas, we’re committed to guiding families toward the best solutions with holistic evaluations that help children reconnect with their love of learning.
Our Unique Approach to Speech Assessment
At ArizonaIEEs, we are dedicated to setting a new standard for assessment quality.
With advanced training in language assessment, diagnostic psychometrics, and special education law, our team takes a deeper approach to evaluating your child’s needs. We don’t stop at asking whether they’re eligible for services—we explore bigger questions to ensure a comprehensive understanding. And because we speak the same language as school district administrators, we help bring everyone onto the same page. This commitment to expert analysis and parent collaboration sets us apart and delivers transformative results that have a lasting impact on your child’s education and future.
Chelsea Bou, MS, CCC-SLP, Founder
With 12 years of experience working inside the public school system as assessor and case manager, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate the complex world of special education, and how often children’s needs are overlooked and misunderstood.
That’s why I created Arizona IEEs. I’m committed to offering a fresh perspective for families seeking more—a perspective rooted in deep knowledge of language processing, diagnostic psychometrics, and the integration of parent perspectives.
My whole-child approach looks beyond basic eligibility. I ask bigger questions that lead to real insights. I am familiar with the inner workings of school districts, their operational structures, and their guiding principles. This inside knowledge allows me to advocate more effectively for families, ensuring that we’re not just speaking the same language as the administrators—we’re also challenging them to meet your child’s needs in a meaningful way.
I am state licensed to practice speech-language pathology in California, Arizona, and Texas, and I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In recognition of my commitment to ongoing professional development, I was awarded the ASHA ACES Award in 2023 for excellence in continuing education.
